Children Swimming Lessons

Friendly, no-pressure swimming lessons for children aged 4+, following the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework and taught by our Level 2 qualified swim teachers.

Swimmers can work towards Swim England Achievement Certificates and, when ready, will be invited to join our transition to squads group to continue their swimming development.

Lesson Times

Saturdays: 11.30am–12.00pm or 12.00pm–12.30pm

Sundays: 3.30pm–4.00pm, 4.00pm–4.30pm or 4.30pm–5.00pm

Location: Battle Abbey Swimming Pool, Penland Road, Bexhill-on-Sea, TN40 2JG

We swim all year round except for 2 weeks over Christmas and the Easter weekend.

Occasional pool closures are already calculated for in our monthly fees, but should they be above what has been allowed, a refund or a reduction in the following months swim fee will be offered.

Pool closures will be notified via the WhatsApp Group.

What to Bring

Please bring suitable swimwear, a swim cap and goggles. Baggy shorts are not suitable.

New members receive a free 1066 Swimmers swim hat when they sign up.

Swim Fees

Lessons cost £27 per month for one half-hour session per week in Groups 1–5. £34 for one hour session in Group 6

Free Taster Lessons

We'd love to invite your child to try us out with two free taster lessons first, so your child can get a feel for the class with zero pressure to join.
